Who am I?

A Boston born coast hopper with an incurable case of wanderlust.  One year I lived in four different countries (US, London, Croatia and Italy). I’ve called most major US cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, NYC and Boston home in my lifetime. If experience makes you rich then I have the quite the nest egg.  Currently living, loving and cooking in Brooklyn, NY!

What do I do?

Everything. I’ve been a private chef on yachts in Croatia, an event manager for parties of up to 1200 people, a paralegal on Wall Street and a chef at Reynard at The Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Throw in my yoga teacher certification and my recent foray into teaching local kids how to cook and you can see that I do what I love and love what I do. Life isn’t a road, it’s a maze with no dead ends. My love of adventure  has shaped my perspective and I plan on keeping it that way.

Eat, love, live, repeat. It’s good to have goals.

Why name the blog  iloveitiloveit?

Inspired by the amazing Icona Pop song “I love it” is there a phrase that fits more perfectly? Don’t like anything, love it and then love it again!

Your blog is so attractive, breezy, and accessible. I love the recipe and the invitation to do it myself. I also love the bio….. Not cooking tonight but I will try this soup soon…I hope a lot of people follow you… They would be inspired to do things in the kitchen they never thought they could. Ruth
